Interviews ehFk: What are your opinions on ESEA Season 3? How did it play out for EG? Were you impressed or disappointed? EG.destro: Aside from the rare client "hiccups", the season was run very well. Admins were always around to help ou tand what not. The mid-season "ESEA strike" which some teams were planning on executing was blown a little out of proportion, and kind of ridiculous in my opinion, but it was settled fairly quickly. As for EG, I am happy with our regular season standing and hope we can ride our current streak into the playoffs. ehFk: How do you feel you stack up against 20id on cp_badlands? Care to make any bold predictions? EG.destro: I think we stand a pretty good chance against them. Coming off our big win in the CEVO UB finals vs. coL on badlands, and beating them 5-0, I believe we can take this match. Not going to make any score predictions though, it will be a nail-biter though I'm sure. ehFk: What do you think about the current state of competitive TF2? EG.destro: Still waiting for a half-decent LAN for us to go to. Hopefully ESEA can provide that for us within the coming seasons (that's if we, the community, can actually come together to SUPPORT this league for what they're doing for us). ESEA is basically the glue holding TF2 together. ehFk: Thanks for your time destro, any shout outs? EG.destro: Shoutout to my ladies over at EG.TF2, dummy, thefrajeely, ninjitsu, FastFire, and some others. Would also like to thank our sponsors over at Intel, SteelSeries, Peregrine, Kingston, MSI, NuclearFallout and Divo Networks. |
