(GotFrag) - One of the newest teams to enter the "ESEA-I/CEVO-M" echelon, LIGHTNINGBOLT! (formerly Zilla Gaming), has a brand new tag to wear for its first season in the top divisions, which are in the process of getting underway. The gaming organization Frag Dominant has had numerous forays into competitive TF2 - the most recent one being the addition of the former Virgin Police squad who'd just won CEVO-F - and are once more stepping to the plate, acquiring the up-and-coming LB. The new Frag Dominant team will be competing in ESEA-I S4 as well as CEVO-M S4, the latter of which is already under way. Here's FD's press release:

"Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – August 04, 2009 - Frag Dominant, LLC, one of North America's leading eSports organizations, is pleased to announce its acquisition of Lightning Bolt, a professional Team Fortress 2 squad.

"We are excited to have team Lightning Bolt play for Frag Dominant; they are a very talented group of players who have the drive to be the best," said Orlando Garcia, Sr. Marketing Manager of Frag Dominant, LLC. "We feel that this is the right fit for us for Team Fortress 2, and we look to see some wonderful things come from this squad. The team is currently in CEVO M with an undefeated record of 3-0, and is awaiting the start of ESEA-Invite Season 4."

Our very own Pete "L0ki" Carpinona had a chance to sit down with Jai "notor-" Piduju, the captain of the new Frag Dominant Team Fortress 2 team, to discuss the transition, and what he will bring to the Frag Dominant community.

FD|Loki: "So start off by telling us who you are and a little bit about your team."

Notor-: "I am Notor, the Capt. of Lightning Bolt. Our team was founded in January of 2008, so we haven't been playing for very long. Before we got into competitive gaming we pubbed together a lot. We later won Cevo-Open Season 3, and are currently Cevo-M and ESEA Invite."

FD|Loki: "What drew you to Frag`Dominant?"

Notor-: "It's a big name in online gaming, pretty much everyone knows about them even I do and I've only been playing online gaming for a year and a half now. I contacted Hanzo and we talked, He like our organization and we like the past and prestige of FD. Things clicked after that"

FD|Loki: "What makes you different than the rest of the TF2 community? You stated you haven't played that long, yet your team has risen so fast."

Notor-: We just play really well as a team. If there's something that holds us back, it does get fixed. It's not a lingering issue, most of all we have fun while we play the game."

FD|Loki: How are you going to interact with the community differently? We know some high talent teams don't always associate with the community directly."

Notor-: Were a fun group of guys. We talk to the community and are well known. We're not really disliked and we don't think highly of ourselves. We try to keep it professional and keep a level of respect to everyone. We like to joke with the community; it's just about having fun."
