Team Fortress 2: ESEA-I Week 4:2

By: Everett Wells - Published September 08, 2009 at 3:09 PM EDT - Writer Archive
EG will be squaring off against 3 different opponents tonight, though only one of them will actually fall under Week 4:2.
(GotFrag) - As EG.cyzer so eloquently pointed out to us here, Canada Evil Geniuses has planned the unthinkable tonight and will risk life, limb and crippling arthritis to bang out 3 rounds worth of ESEA matches, one right after the other (aside from maybe the odd 10 minute pee break).

Since these matches are ESEA, SourceTVs will be readily available 15 minutes before the matches start for all to use, though you will have to look here for the HF & Loaded matches, and here for pac. To clarify what matches are for what week:

Week 4:1 vs United States Hostile Faction
(starting at 9:00PM ET)
Week 3:2 vs United States point and click
(starting at approx. 10:30PM ET)
Week 4:2 vs United States Loaded
(starting at approx. 12:00AM ET)

If that wasn't enough, tomorrow night will see HF face United States Vicious Gaming twice in a double-header of their own, as the two teams wrap up Week 2:2 and 4:2, while pac faces United States 20ID for Week 4:1. The final match for Week 4:2 (20ID vs Canada Strickland Propane) is, for the moment, set to go Thursday night (all by themselves). All in all, between Sunday, Sept. 6th and Thursday, Sept. 10th, a total of nine ESEA-I matches will have been played (along with 2 FFWs for lbolt), which will do doubt radically alter the current ESEA-I standings.

UPDATE: EG has swept all three matches tonight, including a thrilling 5-4 win over Loaded in the weee hours of the morning.

2ND UPDATE: [vg], right on cue, has swept their respective double-header tonight, winning both cp_granary & cp_badlands against HF, who were forced to use pheLon as a ringer due to Phaser's sudden MIA.

By god, if there wasn't a calender on the ESEA site I'd probably go crazy. But, since we at GotFrag are here to serve, here's a rundown of all those matches I just mentioned in nice, easy-to-read scoreboard form:
