(GotFrag) - Once a name that struck fear into the hearts of all opposition, Team Pandemic has announced the formation of a new squad to bear its banner in the TF2 competitive world, with a few familiar faces peppering its roster:

TeamPandemic, LLC. returns to competitive Team Fortress with the announcement of a new lineup for the '09-'10 season.

The organization's original TF2 division went on a virtual rampage in 2008, bringing home a string of consecutive victories which included the CGS Championships, CEVO-P, ESEA, PwnageTV, NVISION and more.

Fans of Pandemic and followers of the scene will immediately recognize the return of Nick "TheFragile" Leon and Jeff "jmitchell" Mitchell from that very squad. "Returning to Pandemic is going to be a great experience for me personally; it's nice to tag up again," said TheFragile in his latest interview. "While this team is essentially new (as a unit), we plan to perform very well in the upcoming ESEA season. We're capable of a lot and I expect great results." -- TeamPandemic.net

Team Pandemic has been without a TF2 squad since the departure of the roster that now bears the
Loaded tag, who themselves were an evolution of the roster that replaced TheFragile's first tour with the Pandemic team, which infamously came to an end when the whole roster jumped ship to the compLexity organization, which is now defunct.

With some of these players having not seen high-level TF2 action in a little while, it'll be interesting to see how quickly they jell together as they prepare for Season 5 of ESEA.
