The Cyberathlete Professional League has announced that the CPL Winter 2006 Championship event will feature a WarCraft III Defense of the Ancients BYOC tournament. This game has been discussed often and with its popularity rising, the CPL has agreed to allow the DotA community to showcase their game in a tournament environment. The CPL has opened registration for 12 five-player teams. Tournament details and format will be released shortly.
