The Chinese Esports Games event in Chengdu, China has turned into a Korean Warcraft school for the assembled Chinese fans.
In every case the Korean players knocked Chinese Warcraft players out of the tournament and now the final four players SoJu, Sweet, Lyn, and ReMinD have set the stage for Korea to take one through four in Chengdu. The event is missing the great Chinese Warcraft III player Sky, who is currently recuperating from his WCG 2006 victory, and his absense can be seen in this event's results.
One early upset took place, with WE.08.Infi, from World Elite's backup squad, taking down WE.IGE.suhO two to nothing. Also Colorful.Guangmo, a strong Chinese Warcraft player, failed to advance past the group stage in a surprise losing to Rabbit, Infi, and Bat.MacSed.
Tomorrow October the 28th the Semi Finals will be played with the Finals to be played on the 29th.
