Primary Race: Orc WC3L Season X Player Rank: 1st Home Map: Echo Isles, Terenas Stand Everybody’s favorite Orc player can’t seem to get any better this season, dropping only one map from all his games. Grubby won all 10 matches with a stellar map score of 20 to 1, putting him at rank 1 in overall player statistics. The Flying Dutchman’s detractors might attribute this to getting easy opponents during the clanwars, but his opponents are no walkovers. Grubby had to face some of the world’s best players, starting with his Human nemesis, Sky, followed by GoStop, Deadman, SaSe and even ESWC 2006 winner, Lucifer. Grubby’s statistics make it look deceptively easy, but obviously his success isn’t a walk in the park with a long hitlist of equally talented opponents. Performing unbelievably well this season, Grubby started with a 2-0 win against Sky. Many would consider this meeting an inaccurate measure of skill, due to the match being played online, which failed to show the true prowess of Sky. Nevertheless, those ripostes are better left on the sidelines: a match is always a match, online or off. Grubby followed this with a slew of two-zero victories, including a highlight match is against SK’s Deadman, considered one of the world’s best Night Elves. This, however, failed to slow down Grubby’s streak, taking down Deadman without dropping a single map. There are only a few Undeads who can match up to Grubby, and one of them would probably have to be none other than mYm’s Lucifer. Unfortunately for the world-class Undead, Grubby steamrolled this duel with another clean sweep. Grubby simply never failed to impress this season with his constant slew of victories. A stellar record with no evident racial weaknesses means that Grubby is coming into the finals as strong as ever.
![]() Olav “Creolophus” Undheim Formerly the top player of Team fnatic, Creolophus was subject to immense pressure to measure up to his new teammates at 4K, Grubby and ToD. Creolophus proved himself to be a worthy addition to the team despite his numerous critics. and the inevitable comparisons to his more illustrious clanmates. While his results weren’t as dominating, it was obvious that Creo was an invaluable asset to his team this season. His contributions have been considerable, as every point has been significant in assuring 4K of the number one seed heading into the offline finals. Also, as FoV has since left the team 4K will need the Norwegian wunderkind more than ever. Creo’s toughest critics constantly compare his performance to his “big brothers,” which is not really fair to this talented, albeit young player. His win loss record of 6 wins and 3 losses may seem average, but his losses have come with some, shall we say, very disagreeable competition. All three of his losses were subsequent to one another, starting with ONE Gaming’s Farseer. This probably was the only matchup where Creolophus was favored to win, only to lose 1:2. After this, however, Creolophus met up with two world-class Undeads: SK’s Sweet and MYM’s Susiria, wherein he suffered two successive 2:0 defeats. After his brief slump, though, Creo performed spectacularly the rest of the way, winning against former teammate RotterDaM, and talented, meteoric newcomers TitaN (mouz), and Protois (mTw). There’s definitely room for improvement for this Night Elf player, but if you compare his performance to other players of similar stature instead of his royal compatriots it’s clear Creolophus certainly deserves to be called a King.
