Part Three of the WC3L Previews features the German team Mousesports. They came on strong at the start of the season and never let up. With a combination of seasoned veterans, new talent, and an international star, mouz's fresh roster managed to make it into the playoffs. ![]()
German team mousesports certainly made their mark this season, sitting just below Four Kings and MYM to take third place. Last season, mousesports only finished at 9th place, making this an incredible improvement for the team. What makes mousesports different from last season to the next? One word, SaSe. He left fnatic team a while back to join mousesports, but season 9 didn’t fare so well for him. He only won 3 out of 10 matches, which leaves everyone unimpressed with his move. This season, SaSe bounced back strong as he quite literally reversed his score, winning 8 and losing only three: to Sweet, Grubby and Shy. Obviously this Night Elf player improved his game significantly, even taking down Lucifer in their way against MYM. Spell was a staple player last season, who wins more often than not. It seems that he is inactive as of late however, playing only three clan wars for the current season. Truly a big loss for mousesports as Spell was a formidable Human player, who excels in playing mirror matches. As if to directly counter Spell’s inactivity, mousesports picked up three stellar new players to add to their roster for Season 10: Giacomo and two young potentials, Happy and TitaN. Coincidentally, all three are from now defunct teams. Giacomo steps up to the plate, with a decent 6-3 win loss ratio. His three losses come from Gostop, Zacard and FoV, stellar players, which makes his performance more than satisfactory. Happy and TitaN has a 4:5 and 5:4 win loss ratio respectively, to complement SaSe and Giacomo’s standings. Their performance this season is nothing short of impressive, with their slew of wins against largely Korean teams such as Meet Your Makers and ONE Gaming. They even pulled off stunning 4:1 victories against fnatic, verGe and most of all--World Elite. Defeats come in small packages with 2:3 losses against SK Gaming and Clan GO, and an unfortunate sweep done by the Four Kings. Nevertheless, with 8 wins against 3 losses, this is definitely a great season for the team.
