Last year’s champs come into the NGL finals as confident as they come. Sure, they lost the recent WC3L championships to their main rival Four Kings—but that doesn't mean they don't have what it takes to win. They are sitting pretty on top at rank #1 of the NGL food chain. Just take a look at their roster--Lucifer, Moon, Susiria and now the up and coming FoCuS--MYM should have no problem taking down any foe that comes their way.

Last year was a series of ups and downs for Moon. When he losses, everybody laments on how he's "losing shape", but when he wins, oh boy--he crushes his opponents. He beat his main nemesis Grubby twice, 2-0 in Superfight and 3-0 in Warcraft World War; and Sky 3-1 in IEST. If Moon prepares for a matchup, it means that he is virtually untouchable.

Lucifer... oh my god Lucifer. If Lucifer was good before, now he's even better. After the impressive show he put up during the Battle.net Season 4 finals, he was quickly elevated into the top 5 of everyone's list. Much deserved for this deathly Undead player, taking down for the first time, Grubby (an Orc, and in LAN no less) and losing only to ReMinD in a tight and very exciting finals match.

Add to that the new Orcish addition with FoCuS, it seems like MYM is gaining shape. While FoCuS did not see much playing time on the NGL online matches, this fellow smells of potential. Formerly of WE.IGE before he returned back to NoA, FoCuS has a lot to prove, and a lot of talent to back it up.

Would the NGL system work to their advantage? MYM's manager Nordahl seems to think so. "I think the NGL One system is very favorable for teams who has players who are performing very well at any given time. For example, Lucifer pretty much secured us the #1 spot by winning 11 points in the last 3 matches. He did the same last finals where he beat Deadman and Zacard twice and Moon took 3 points from 4K putting us in the grand final."

Manager's Statement : MYM]Nordahl

I am excited about this season finals. The location looks very promising and the NGL organisation has done something that is not easily done, namely impressed be with the way they organised these finals, allthough info came out a little late, the magnitude of it all explains why and I have nothing but respect for something like that.
