Warcraft is back in Eurocup after its absence last season. Amongst the 24 invited players is EuroCup XIII Champion, Kevin "RotterDaM" v.d. Kooi, and silver medalist Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen. Joining them are 24 players, including two mousesports players Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin and Kim "Hammar" SaSe, that won their ticket through the qualification rounds. All of these players are competing for a ticket to the offline LAN finals and a shot at winning the 4.000€ (approx. $5,322 USD) of cash prizes.

Each group has a favorite to advance. In Group A, Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn should finish at the top, with the second spot up for grabs between Peter "DNA" Agardiand and Johan "Naniwa" Lucchesi. In the second group, Andrey "Deadman" Sobolev should imitate his teammate and finish first of the group in front of Michael "Giacomo" Hladik. Although you cannot count out the rising Ukrainian star, Artem "Tresh" Mosyakin, who has been performing very well in recent league matches.The third group will be very tight between three players and quite possibly a fourth. Kim "SaSe" Hammar is the favorite, but Daniel "Miou" Holthuis, Joona "Konna" Parikka, and Rudolf "Tharkas" Pramer could all surprise the mousesports's player. It's difficult to predict exactly who will be the first in Group D, since all players seem to be of the same caliber. With that said, it will most likely be Andrew "fire_de" Regendantz, having performed particularly well in the Extreme Masters.

Group E looks like the more skilled of all the groups. Although Olav "Creolophus" Undheim should taking the top spot, he will most definitely have trouble against Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin and Rene "Ciara" Krag. Either way, it's going to be between these three players that will advance from this group. The sixth group seems destined for Zdravko "Insomnia" Georgiev and Rob "Rob" Abdrakhmanov. Although with Rob's recent poor performance, we may see Mateusz "hG" Pietrzak or Vladislav "Frozen" Baronov give the star orc player some difficulties. Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen is of course the clear favorite of group G and the tournament. However, he will have to surpass two European talents in Daniel "LiiLD.C" Claesson and the young Daniel "XlorD" Spenst. Finally the two fnatic players, Kevin "RotterDaM" v.d. Kooi and Mikhail "XyLigan" Ryabkov, should finish at the first two places in group H.
