Warcraft 3: WEG announces E-Stars 2007

The WEG organization holds an invitational gaming event in Seoul, coming this August 2007.
The World E-Sports Games, also known as WEG, is a gaming organization which hosts the famous WEG tournaments since a few years ago. Their most popular event was WEG Masters, held last April of 2006, when they invited 8 top players to China to compete for incredible prizes.

WEG now announces a new competition: The E-Stars 2007, a tournament to be held this summer, August 10th in Seoul, Korea.

Almost all the best players of Warcraft III at the moment are invited to this prestigious tournament. The winner of WEG Masters, Yoan “4K^ToD” Merlo, along with his Dutch teammate Manuel “4K^Grubby” Schenkhuizen, will be attending the event. Two players from Meet Your Makers, Jae Ho “Moon” Jang and Jae Wook “Lucifer” Noh, are also expected to compete. Another Korean and popular Night Elf player, Sung Sik “WE.IGE.ReMinD” Kim, is also invited to attend.

To represent the incredible amount of Warcraft III fans in China, two-time WCG champion Xiao Feng “WE.IGE.Sky” Li and Weiliang “mouz.Fly100%” Lu. The eighth and last player will be announced soon.

The players will play for the total prize pool of $39,000. Here is the current list of invitees.
