Another tournament alongside E-stars is currently being run in South Korea, this time the IEF 2007. The International Esports Festival features players from China and Korea to compete in the tournament.

Interesting to note is the participation of Xiao Feng "Sky" Li in this tournament. He decided to play here instead of E-Stars, even if he already confirmed his attendance in the latter. He replaced fellow World Elite player LiKe from the lineup.

Additionally, Dae Hee "FoV" Cho ended up not being able to participate in the said event. He has a WCG qualifier match against Seong Deok "SoJu" Lee scheduled on the same day. SoJu didn't agree to a reschedule the match, leaving Cho to forfeit his place in IEF.

During the group stages, the players play against each other in a best of one match. The top two players in each group advance to bracket play.
