Meet Your Makers is a staple team in the WC3L finals. With a roster filled with talent and experience, they're the team to beat. ![]() Meet Your Makers
They are considered one of the strongest teams ever since they managed to sign the infamous Moon to their roster. On top of having the best Night Elf player, MYM also plays host to two world-class Undeads along with an up and coming Orc. Moon of course, is one of the most dominating forces in Warcraft III. Time and again, Moon has proven to be able to defeat the best players in the world without breaking a sweat. He's definitely the go-to guy for MYM. Lucifer is another of MYM's main talents. He won last year ESWC, then followed up with an amazing performance back in WC3L Season 10/Bnet Finals, where he managed to wrestle himself a 2nd place finish after defeating Grubby and losing only to ReMinD in the finals. Susiria has never been the star, but he's always been consistent and indispensable for the team. Their roster has been relatively the same ever since the beginning of their domineering status – with the exception of an Orc upgrade (from BerA to FoCuS), and maybe the second coming of former Rookie of the Year, StorM. Meet Your Makers' Solo Matches
Lucifer has always been plagued with criticism of being inconsistent, but he is MYM’s go-to guy, playing for the team in all matches. His losses come from players such as SoJu, Satiini, Shy and FoV – certainly nothing to be ashamed about. He has 6 wins out of 10 matches – and despite those losses, his points helped the team surge up to rank 1. Moon played only 7 matches out of the possible 10, but he made the most out of it. His only loss came from TH000, while he won against the likes of ToD and Sky. FoCuS is MYM’s Orc player this season. FoCuS used to be overlooked back when he was in Go and World Elite, but now he’s able to stand his own ground. FoCuS is relatively lucky though, he managed to take two default wins against xiaOt and Xyligan. Nevertheless, he’s showing talent to be great in Orc mirror – winning against KiwiKaKi, Like, Minhyuk and Grubby.
MYM shouldn't have a problem with their 2v2 games. Lucifer and Susiria have proven to be one of the best 2v2 teams around – on top of having Moon as a possible 2v2 player. While their record is littered with some losses, they’ve been to too many LAN finals for small losses to matter. Their major nemesis – Four Kings (Grubby/ToD or Grubby/Creo) – won’t be making an appearance. The rest should be easy pickings for them.
Final Outlook Strengths: The players of Meet Your Makers are marked with experience – rugged veterans of the WC3L scene. They’ve faced most, if not all, of the best players. Pre-game jitters are out of the question – their greatest competition is themselves. Weaknesses: Overexposure. Meet Your Makers are essentially the same team for several seasons running. People know what to expect and will be ready to counter it. Prediction: MYM is still a top contender for the first prize. With Moon and Lucifer on the team, it’s difficult not to expect them to win.
