Warcraft 3: starComa moves to aTTaX

By: Jaclyn Lo - Published January 18, 2008 at 11:29 AM EST - Writer Archive
starComa players move to aTTax, plays under the aTTax banner for WC3L.
A week before the new season of WC3L starts, starComa is picked up by a new team.

Starcoma surprised everyone by sailing through the WC3L qualifiers, defeating top favorites hoorai and mTw. Their roster is comprised of young, talented Germans without any big or notable names; but their incredible amount of motivation proved to everyone that they can defeat other aspiring teams.

Their success piqued the interest of a team which has aspired to create a Warcraft III squad. Alternate aTTaX started to pick up players a few months ago, starting with Peter "FireStrike" Staudacher. This was followed by the recruitment of Daniel "XlorD" Spenst and Benjamin "DeMusLiM" Baker, when they left their previous teams.

Three players were not enough to complete a squad for alternate aTTaX, so they have done the next best thing. They acquired the recently successful starComa, along with their WC3L spot, to further reinforce this European team to succeed in the league.

The aTTaX organization are very pleased with the integration. In their statement at their website, they mentioned how they plan to support them to their fullest potential.

We will see the new aTTaX roster in action in the Warcraft III Champions League, which begins in the 24th of January.

Elroy "Noname" Pinto has done an interview with some of the former-sCa players before they were picked up by their new team, which can be read here.
