Warcraft 3: Satiini released from mTw

In a mutual agreement from both parties, Juha-Matti "Satiini" Backstrom sees his name removed from the mTw roster.
A little over three months ago it was announced that Juha-Matti "Satiini" Backstrom would aid mTw in replacing retired American players Franklin "Nilknarf" Pearsall and Phil "LongWalk" Crawford.

Today, it has been decided by both parties that Backstrom will be released from his contract with mTw. The driving force behind this decision was Backstrom's failure to attend the NGL-ONE finals despite informing the team that he would be able to make it.

"It was all my fault, I thought I could make it by ferry since I did similar stuff like 7 years ago, but eventually it was still just too much to handle for me," Backstrom told myMYM.com.

Christopher "rukie" Pawlowski was quick to point out, however, that while this would seem like a bad break, Backstrom actually left on good terms.

"I would like to stress that the organization does not think that Matti is a bad player. We hope that his problems can be resolved so that he has a chance to represent his future team, and even show his potential in offline tournaments."

While Backstrom remains a strong force in competitive online play, the illness that prevents him from attending offline events make it very unclear of his future within top teams.

This leaves the mTw lineup as follows:

Belarus Yaraslau 'NightWOlf' Kavetski
Germany Lars Gerrit 'Protois' Reichelt
Germany Johannes 'hanf' Morlo
Canada Jonathan 'KiWiKaKi' Garneau
South Korea Tae In 'Rainbow' Kim
Brazil Bernardo 'PaTo' Rodrigues (inactive)
