South Korea June "Lyn" Park

There's not much to say about Lyn other than he is the current Orc Emperor of Korea. Since joining SK Gaming, he and his teammates have been dominating the premier online team leagues. Over the past year, they've been the team to beat, winning championships in both the WC3L and NGL-ONE. Their only hiccup? Coming from the recent NGL-ONE finals where they placed second.

As a solo artist, Lyn has performed better than just about everyone. Stemming from last summer, a 4th at ESWC and a 2nd at IEF kicked off his remarkable tournament season. The only tournament he didn't place top 5 in this year was WCG, where we was placed in the initial group of death. More recently, he won the Extreme Masters LA even with ease, which gave him the opportunity to participate in this tournament.

Strengths: Consistency. Next to Moon, he is one of the most consistent players today. His recent tournament results speak for themselves.

Weaknesses: The only chink in Lyn's armor seems to come from other Orc players. He's been known to lose to lesser players of the race he commands, and he will need to fix it if he wishes to take down Grubby.

Recent Results: 1st Extreme Masters LA, 1st AWL Season 2, 4th ESWC 2007, 3rd CEG Shaoxing 2008, 2nd IEF 2007 Summer

Predictions: First. With a convincing win at the Extreme Masters LA event, combined with solid placing in other recent tournaments, Lyn has proven that he is the player to beat during the finals.

South Korea Jae Wook "Lucifer" Noh

There was once a time where Lucifer was considered the best WarCraft III player in the world. Yes, even better than Moon. However, that time has passed and Lucifer now finds himself struggling against the top tier players. Constantly failing to qualify for tournaments outside of Korea is really not helping his case. He did manage a second place at the Extreme Masters LA event, which secured his spot here at the finals. However, he has failed to make a splash at any other solo tournaments since then.

Lucifer is coming off a strong showing at the NGL-ONE Finals though. He started it off with a first round sweep of mouz, including an epic game against ToD on the heavily Human favored map Lost Temple. Following this win, his team didn't need him again until Grand Final match versus SK Gaming. With the score tied 3-3, they called in Lucifer to take down ReMinD in the clutch. He succeeded to bring the title home to MYM.

Strengths: Innovation. Lucifer has one of the best minds in the game. He is constantly trying to come up with new strategies to counter what he knows his opponent will do against him.

Weaknesses: Orc. Not unlike most Undead players he struggles against Orc players, despite knowing what's coming every game.

Recent Results: 2nd Extreme Masters LA, 1st NGL-ONE Finals with MYM.

Predictions: Fourth. With his strong recent performances he'll be able to finish first in his group, but will more than likely fall to both Grubby and Lyn once he's there.
