Przemek "Paladyn" WadońPlaying for PGS, Paladyn has been a top player a while. However, he's still yet to truly breach into the upper echelon of WarCraft III players. This Polish Night Elf is the epitome of the term dark horse. He's one of the players that's just good enough to qualify for an event, but never really makes a big splash once he's there. He qualified for last summer's ESWC, but met his eventual demise in the second group stage where he placed fourth. He was then beat out at the Polish WCG qualifiers by his teammate sLh later in the year, missing out on one of the year's biggest tournaments. As far as online goes, he's had less than a stellar WC3L season. Only playing two matches, he's gone winless and might not see playing time for a while if he doesn't perform well here. Strengths: He's been around for a while and knows what it takes to win. He's also going to be overlooked by the players at this event, giving him the perfect chance for an upset. Weaknesses: He's overlooked for a reason though. The top players don't consider him a legitimate threat, and why should they when he simply doesn't put up consistent results. Recent Results: Qualifying for Extreme Masters II Predictions: Eliminated in group play. Paladyn is a strong player capable of upsets, but it's hard to pick him to advance in group B over the other high calibre players. Dmitriy "Happy" KostinHappy is a young Undead player hailing from Russia. He received his start in Mousesports (the team he still currently resides in) as an up and coming talent. It proved to be a good investment on the team's part, as he matured to become a top European player. Together with SaSe they became the pillars holding the team up in the WC3L before the reinforcements arrived. Due to his age, he has been restricted to online play only until recently. The Extreme Masters Finals will be his first chance to participate with the top players on LAN in a pure solo environment. He was seen with his team at the NGL ONE Finals last week, where he defeated ReMinD, but lost to both Lucifer and Lyn who will be participating in this event. Strengths: Happy is known for having one of the strongest Undead vs Orc match-ups, as well as being possibly the best fiend user in the world. Weaknesses: Despite being a great player, he is still quite young at 16-years-old. With his age comes inexperience, especially in the form of LAN tournaments as he has been too young to attend them for a majority of his career. Recent Results: 3rd NGL-ONE Finals with mouz Predictions: 5/6th. He's good enough to take at least 3rd in his group, but advancing to the playoffs doesn't seem to be in the cards for him. |
