The C-Club cafe in Kiev played host to this year's KODE5 Ukraine qualifiers. Thirty of Ukraine's best Warcraft players squared off in a double-elimination bracket where only the winner would receive a birth to the KODE5 Global Finals.

Both Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn and Valentine "FiX" Krulikovsky received BYEs in the single-elimination first round, placing them directly into the double-elimination bracket. This would be a premonition of the finals match to come.

Novopashyn and Krulikovsky cruised through the brackets to meet up in the Upper Finals. While Novopashyn was the heavy favorite, he was bested by the Undead player in a close 2-1 match.

The Ukrainian Night Elf star fought his way back to the Grand Final after defeating Ghost in the Consolation match. Krulikovsky would prove that his initial win wasn't a fluke however, handily defeating Novopashyn to claim the victory.

Krulikovsky will be representing Ukraine at the KODE5 Global Finals to be held in Moscow, Russia later this year.
