The much anticipated new patch is out on Battle.net test servers. But a few hours ago, the server is officially put up by Blizzard and is accessible without the need of editing the registry The Westfall server contains the much anticipated 1.22 patch for Warcraft III. Instead of releasing it immediately to the public, Blizzard has decided to create a beta realm to garner player feedback regarding the game. This is an effort to ensure that the game finds better balance between the four races. There are only a few changes in the posted change log. Karune, the Blizzard Community Manager, has mentioned that these will be updated, most probably when there has been enough feedback from the players. The complete patch notes are posted below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Patch 1.22 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- FEATURES - There is now a replay auto-save feature in the options menu. FS'r wolf experience.
or it may bring the death to WC3.
if you're shocked you should brush up on your reading skills
I don't think it is a matter of reading, we know there's more to come, but there's obvious glaring issues with Orc and they don't even touch them? How long have then been at this patch? With as long as they have I don't see them suddenly making any sweeping changed to the one race that needs it the most.
despite what you may think, the fact that it's been awhile since the last patch doesn't necessarily mean that they've been on this patch for a long period of time. in fact, it's likely true that they've had their hands full with wow and sc2.
how long have they been at this patch? i don't know. do you know? if you don't know, why are you assuming they have been at it for a period of time that makes it impossible for them to make changes to orc?
tbh all these balances are fine, and UD is the race that needed the most help as it is the weakest solo race ATM.
The Orc getting a feature called "Careful Footing" that would prevent spamming Ensnare on the same unit; Spirit Walkers being completely magic-immune in corporeal form; Life Leech for the Dreadlord; percentage chance to ignore damage from the Paly's Devotion Aura; percentage chance to stun from the KotG's Thorns Aura, et. al... This doesn't look like patch 1.22, it's more like 1.21c or something.
Say it ain't so Blizz!
