Warcraft 3: CESO postponed indefinitely

The China E-sports Open is postponed due to the Chinese government.
A unique and highly anticipated event to be held in Beijing, China has been postponed. The China Esports Open was supposed to be held less than two weeks from today.

In a statement issued from the organization posted in Replays.net, the main reason of the postponement is due to the Chinese government barring any other event (including CESO) to be held in the proposed venue. They plan to use the said venue to hold Olympic related events.

CESO invited 10 teams to attend the tournament including Beijing E-sports Team, World Elite, Gravitas Gaming and Meet Your Makers. These teams will compete against each other in the LAN tournament.

The organization appears to be unable to secure an alternative venue in such short notice or this was simply not a viable option.

The tournament is postponed indefinitely. The event will tentatively be held after the Olympics.
