A long and exhilarating group stage came to a close yesterday in Moscow, Russia. Eight players have advanced on to the single-elimination bracket, without any major upsets.

The upper half of the bracket is stacked. Number one seed Yoan "ToD" Merlo will have his hands full in the first round against the Korean Duck-Man "Soccer" Youn. Saying on the same side of the bracket, Orc super-star Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen is matched up against the other Korean Night Elf, Chul Woo "Shy" Park.

In the lower portion, Chinese sensation Yuwen "Infi" Wang, will go up against the German representative Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider. Unfortunately for the Russian fans, one of their hometown heroes will be knocked out when Dimitriy "Happy" Kostin and Mikhail "XyLigan" Ryabkov go toe-to-toe.

GotFrag TV! GotFrag TV will be broadcasting the KODE5 Global Finals with play by play by Alex "Vansilli" Nguyen and color commentary from Trevor "Midway" Schmidt. The festivities will begin at 2:00am EST with the first match taking place one hour after at 3:00am.
