(Cologne, Germany) - The best Warcraft players from around the globe are set to battle at the annual World Cyber Games event.

Absent from this year's event is reigning champion Creolophus, who had retired from gaming after taking the gold in Seattle. Also missing from the field is Sky, runner up in Seattle, and gold medalist in both 2005 and 2006. However, there is a plethora of other players waiting to become the new champion. Among the likes are other Chinese hopefuls, Ted, Like, and Infi. Moon is always a strong contender, as well are Grubby and ToD. ESWC 2008 Champion Who is also in the mix, looking to be the first to win both events in the same year.
