Team Pandemic's World of Warcraft team will be heading to China for the World Series of Video Games first stop in 2007. Maumelle, Arkansas – April 17, 2007 – TeamPandemic, LLC., one of North America's hottest professional gaming teams, has confirmed that its World of Warcraft: Arena division will be making its debut at the World Series of Video Games China. The WSVG kick-off event will be held in the city of Wuhan during the country's traditional "Golden Week" holiday May 1-3. In addition to boasting more than $60,000 in cash prizes, the stop will feature the launch of Blizzard's long-awaited offline competitive template making it the first major World of Warcraft LAN tournament in the world. Team Pandemic's World of Warcraft division consists of seven individuals from the legendary "Notorious" guild from the Tichondrius server. The team is currently competing in the official Blizzard 5v5 Arena tournament under the name "Power Trip." They recently finished in first place playing within BattleGroup 9 (Bloodlust), and will be advancing to the second stage of qualification which is set to begin on April 22.
