World of Warcraft: Fnatic.WoW Retooled

By: Jack Westerman - Published August 07, 2007 at 4:56 PM EDT - Writer Archive
After a disappointing performance at the WSVG Dallas event, Fnatic are making several alterations to their World of Warcraft lineup.
Fnatic have announced that they will be saying farewell to several players from their current World of Warcraft team, and will be welcoming newer, fresher faces from a line-up that has recently been dominating the WoW circuit: Insurrection.

Team Insurrection have had two consecutive 2nd place finishes at the WSVG Dallas and Louisville stops, losing to Pandemic in the final of each event. They will no doubt be looking to upset their rivals at the upcoming WSVG Toronto spot, which is just around the corner, and the team have apparently been training hard in preparation. The Fnatic.WoW roster now consists of:

United Kingdom James "2GD" Harding (Team Manager WoW & Q4)
United States Amine "Uthgar" Issa (Warrior, Paladin)
United States Scott "Nad" Asher (Priest, Paladin)
United States Kyle "Azure" Holroyd (Mage)
United States Jason "Agnos" Webber (Warlock)
United States Brian "Caal" McPharlin (Druid, Priest, Warrior)
United States Richard "Ravor" Smith (Warrior, Rogue)

Scott 'Nab' Asher discussed his thoughts about joining the organization in an interview on Fnatic.com:

"We're extremely excited to be a part of Fnatic. We've obviously taken a long time to determine who would be the best sponsor, and while we've had several other offers, knew that having an established, professional organization like Fnatic would ensure that we could stop spending our time managing our travel and gear and spend more time perfecting our skills. Sam and I have been talking for well over a month now and I think we've worked out the basis for a great relationship."

The full interview with Scott Asher is available on the fnatic website.
