The Intel Extreme Masters III tournament kicks off its World Of Warcraft competition in August at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The tournament will feature sixteen teams that will battle one another for a shot at $30,000 USD in cash prizes along with two berths in the Global Final.

The Kick-Off is the first Global Challenge for the Extreme Masters III tournament and will be held from August 22nd to August 24th. Overall, the Intel Extreme Masters III tournament will see $750,000 USD in cash prizes handed out to the top gamers from around the world.
