The Extreme Masters III kicks off in Leipzig, Germany this Friday. Top World of Warcraft teams from all around the globe are in attendance. The top World of Warcraft teams from around the world have gathered at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany where the Extreme Masters III is set to kick off. With the prize purse totaling $30,000, the twelve competing teams will be fighting tooth and nail for that first place prize. Reigning MLG Orlando Champion, fnatic, will be in attendance, along with the WWI runner-up, x6tence. Other notable teams include Pandemic Blue, mousesports, SK.EU and Nihilum Plasma. The tournament will start out with a group stage, with six teams in two groups. The top three from each group will advance automatically. The fourth and fifth place teams in each group will play a relegation match to determine the last two slots. From there, the tournament will be a straight double-elimination playoff until a winner is determined. P.S. I guess it is being streamed on ESL TV?
You need to have a (free) account on the ESL site, have Octoshape Player downloaded (and then open it), then play the stream in Internet Explorer (just click the Play button, not the external player).
