Top arena teams from around Europe have gathered at the Circulo Bellas artes, Salon de columnas in Madrid, Spain. They are attempting to qualify for Blizzard's second annual World of Warcraft Arena tournament, to be held at BlizzCon later this year. They will be using the 3v3 format, instead of last year's 5v5.

Top contender's this year include x6tence, the winner's of the WWI event in Paris, as well as Nihilum Plasma who took home first place at the Intel Extreme Masters by ESL's Global Challenge in Leipzig. They are joined by solid teams such as mousesports, and aAa Agita.
