![]() Chih Chi Huang Peng Pan Fung Chien Cheng KuoKnown Comps: Druid, Warlock, Warrior R. O. C took first place in the Taiwanese Regional finals, beating out Made in Taiwan. R. O. C plays the popular WLD setup, although it is not certain if they play it to the level of fnatic or Nihilum Plasma. One thing to note, however, is that they did beat Made in Taiwan 3-0 who ran WPD, the supposed best counter to WLD. If they are capable of that, perhaps this is a team to keep an eye on. ![]() Hukjoon “Hyoga” Jang Taehyun “Snowstorm” Kim Chan “Student” EunKnown Comps: Priest, Mage, Rogue Winners of the Worldwide Invitational in Paris, and second place in the Korean Regional finals, Council of Mages is definitely one of the best that Korea has to offer. Everyone seems to be excited to see how they handle the WLD of fnatic and Nihilum, as PMR is not exactly a strong counter to WLD. However, if any team is capable of taking down the most popular comp right now, it would have to be this team. ![]() Patrick "Inflame" Costales Michael "John" Carekoala Tyrrell Luis "Paperkat" Di CentaKnown Comps: Warlock, Druid, Warrior Nihilum Plasma has obviously figured out how to play the WLD setup very well. Winners of the EM Leipzig event and a strong second place at the EM LA event, Nihilum is looking to prove their dominance once again. They have been brought back to reality, in the sense that their WLD comp is not unbeatable, and could possibly bow out early in this tournament. Zachary "Itsmecasper" Rankin Max "Yogz" Yueh Nick "Wojo" DamroschKnown Comps: Warlock, Warrior, Druid Selective Queuers took second place at the North American Regional finals, losing to fnatic. While SQ has made little noise in the international scene, they did give fnatic a run for their money in a 3-2 loss. If they were able to keep up with fnatic, who knows who else they will give trouble at this event. ![]() Chieh Hao Teng Meng Ju Yang Chin Yu ChenKnown Comps: Warlock, Druid, Warrior Made in Taiwan took second place in the Taiwanese Regional, but did not place well at the Worldwide Invitational in Paris. They are the fourth and final WLD to compete in this event, but without much LAN experience, it's difficult to say how well they will perform here in Anaheim. Page:
