World of Warcraft: Video of Nihilum winning Blizzcon

Nihilum has taken down the Americans to win the 2008 Blizzcon World of Warcraft Arena Finals.
(Anaheim, California)) - Nihilum Plasma has defeated Selective Queuers to win the 2008 Blizzcon Arena Finals. After taking down the mighty fnatic yesterday, Nihilum took out the remaining team, Selective Queuers to take home the $75,000 first place prize.

The reactions could of been speechless but wow......., the crowd didn't even have energy. They were engaged in the action, but no real emotion....how sad =(.

Being there in person I was also a little surprised at the lack of enthusiasm or excitement as well. There was a large crowd that reacted good but it seemed as though the teams and the crew running the tournament lacked excitement about what they were doing there.

The casters did a decent job but I would have liked to have seen more excitement and buildup to the finals. The awards ceremony was even less enthusiastic and didnt include the other teams that placed. I believe it is all in how it was presented. There seemed to be more energy at the rts stage.

Probably due to the lack of hype surrounding WoW events, given that there's very little 'rivalry' or long standing teams fighting each other.

That and WoW players don't feel emotion.

Maybe if the prize was gold and legendarys they would've been excited.
