World of Warcraft: ESL US Continental Final WoW Melee

Gravitas Gaming looks for their first win in 2008 after too many second places finish, at the Extreme Masters Continental Finals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
(GotFrag) - Eight of America's top teams have congregated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the VGXPO. Here, they will be attempting their shot at $30,000, as well as a shot at the Extreme Masters Global Finals.

The teams have been split into two groups, where the top performer in each group automatically advances to the playoffs. The second and third place finishers are set to play in relegation matches to determine the final spots in the playoff. The top two placing teams from the event will be qualified for the Global Finals to be held in March of 2009

Prize Distribution

1st: Trade Chat All Stars $15,000 and a slot for the Global Finals
2nd: GotGame East $6,000 and a slot for the Global Finals
3rd: Evil Geniuses $3,600 and a slot for the Global Finals
4th: Gravitas Gaming $2,400
5-6th: fnatic $1,500
5-6th: GotGame West $1,500
