With rumors swirling around for the upcoming ESL Extreme Masters, Blizzard has placed a nice present in the lap of WoW players that could bode well for upcoming events.

Blizzard has announced a sequel to their successful arena tournament from last year.

PvP players will have to chance to play for over $200,000 in cash prizes, as well as in-game gear. Included as possible rewards for playing are a new title, Vanquisher and "Armored Murloc," a vanity pet.

Registration will begin on February 17th and online qualifiers will take place on tournament realms, and the top teams will advance to their respective regional finals.

"These realms have been outfitted with level 80 character templates and the latest epic gear from Wrath of the Lich King," stated the official announcement.

More details are slated to be released next week.
