Fnatic Orz's druid has two titles from last year's series and aims for her third in Columbus. Age: 18 Hometown: Lexington, MA Student/Occupation: Student Game Nickname: Hafu Team: fnatic orz Favored Class: Druid Favored Team Composition: Warrior/Lock/Druid Battlegroup: Bloodlust Past Gaming Accomplishments: 1st MLG Orlando 2008 1st MLG Dallas 2008 1st Blizzard 2008 Regionals 3rd Blizzcon 2008 1st ESL Leipzig 2008 How did you get into playing World of Warcraft initially, what led to playing professionally and what keeps you playing the game? A couple friends got me playing freshman year of high school, and I just got hooked onto it. I met Rhaegyn season 1, and we've been teaming up since. I play because I love traveling around and competing at tournaments. Outside of competitive eSports, what occupies your time. Are you a student? (major?) Any sports or hobbies? Currently I'm learning the guitar and how to drive! I play literati (online scrabble), go shopping, and hang out with friends. To what extent do your friends and family know about this aspect of your life? How have they reacted? Will they be following the competition from home? They all think it's pretty cool, and are very supportive. My parents came to the North American Blizzard regionals in Boston to watch me play. They watch streams when available. How did you come to be a part of your team? What are the factors that make this team the best choice for you? I've been playing with Andrew (rhaegyn) since season 1, and with Alex (glick) since season 3. We know each others play styles and work well together. What is your usual role on the team? As of this moment, what class is your favorite to play in competition? Healing! How has the Wrath of the Lich King expansion and subsequent 3.1 patch changed competitive play from last year if any, in your opinion? A lot of things have changed, obviously, but most notably are the addition of Death Knights. There are a lot of imbalances in the game right now, but Blizzard is still tuning them up. If the classes were to remain largely the same come time for MLG Columbus, what comps would you expect to see in heavy rotation. What comps are you anticipating to be the most challenging to take down? RMP seems to be pretty challenging, and I anticipate a lot of teams will be running it. What teams would you expect to pose the biggest threat to your own? Why? Every team is a pretty big threat, as the patch is still fairly new and there's a lot to learn versus every setup. For someone just starting out in WoW Arena PvP, what is the most effective piece of advice you could offer? What are the keys to success in WoW Arena? Binding your keys and practicing are pretty basic, but to be successful you have to play as a team, as cliche as that sounds.
