GotFrag.com - Evil Geniuses are going to be playing this unique comp of Rogue/Warlock/Shaman and are going to use that to their advantage when playing against Gravitas' RMP setup. Zyz, EG's Rogue, has been much more of a defensive player, choosing to open after rather than before the action has started. Based on the most recent performance, EG was able to qualify on the Tournament Realm while Gravitas was not, due to not playing enough games to qualify (as opposed to not reaching the required top ratings.)

Without a keen look at how well Gravitas has been faring on the Tournament Realm, it is very difficult to gauge how well they will fare against EG. Obviously, when compared to the team of last year, their respective classes have been buffed and changed in various ways. The team work and skills are still there, the biggest change will be how well they respond to their opponent's tactics. One of the most difficult aspects of Arenas is being able to react to strategies and being used to your opponents from the Tournament Realm (or live) is a huge advantage.

Evil Geniuses may have fared the best as far as American teams are considered at the ESL finals, but that may not translate to success here in Columbus. Conversely from Gravitas, Evil Geniuses found success not with one but two different teams on the Tournament Realm. Twice as much practice with relevant comps, abilities and strategies will certainly provide a competitive edge.
