Ryan "Marites" Kennedy breaksdown x6tence vs. Button Bashers from the first round of the World of Warcraft tournament. ![]() Button Bashers makes a switch from their original setup of the RMP. They have been practicing Warlock/Hunter/Paladin for awhile to face their counterpart Hunter/Death Knight/Paladin. The match starts will full pressure from X6 onto Orangemarmelade, playing the warlock for Button Bashers, forcing the early Hand of Protection as he gets brought to sub 30%. With X6’s the Death Knight cleaving both hunter and warlock, opportunities arose allowing X6 to make a coordinated switch the ignored hunter of Button Bashers bringing him down without a deterrence or disengage. Round 2 – Ring of Valor Ring of Valor brings a clear advantage for Button Bashers as there will be no escape from Orangemarmelade playing the warlock. Round 2 opens with both teams using all cooldowns to get their damage out as early as they can. Siler playing the hunter for X6 is forced to pillar hug as hes pressured nonstop as soon as the lifts rise. Siler folds under the early pressure missing traps and again not using his deterrence mitigate damage. Because Siler is playing full defense he is not able to put up the pressure needed to keep Orangemarmelade from taking complete control over the match. As the first pillar rotation goes in to effect, Siler is forced out into the open and easily gets put down with no line of sight to save him. Round 3 – Dalaran Sewers X6 learning from their previous mistake of not placing pressure on Orangemarmelade, goes into the third round using absolutely everything to eliminate Button Basher’s early pressure. Seeing it Orangemarmelade goes in to defensive for nearly the whole fight only allowing their hunter to do damage to X6’s hunter, Siler. Orangemarmelade sat and waited in full defense mode for the perfect opportunity when Siler’s health dips to 60%. Awaiting the backlash, Orangemarmelade opens with a shadowfury , incinerate, conflagrate combo putting Siler down again without a deterrence. Round 4 – Blades Edge X6tence will make a composition change for round for playing a Warrior/Warlock/Druid. X6tence’s warlock will be playing affliction opposed to Button Basher’s destruction. X6tence’s warlock starts early by playing a full dot spread making Button Basher’s paladin fall far behind on healing. With all 3 players playing defensive there is 0 damage output coming from team Button Bashers. All of X6tence sits at full health and mana while Button Bashers are slowly ticking away and running out of time. Falcon shows full dominance in this match making this an easy victory over X6tence. Round 5 – Dalaran Sewers Yet another setup change this time on the side of Button Bashers going back to their renowned RMP. Button Bashers comes out of the gates using Tricks of the Trade even though they were not able to get a sap. Early pressure to X6tence’s warrior as he goes defensive with a shield. Button Bashers makes a quick opener on to X6tence’s druid which proved to be more of a problem than beneficial. All 3 from Button Bashers are caught in a bladestorm which will eventually lead to a full defensive retreat. While Orangemarmelade makes his down the ramp he is chased and killed by the entire team while hypothermia is still on.
