A look at the bullet points for the first day of competition at BlizzCon 2009.  Day One of BlizzCon 2009 Teams from around the world came together in Anaheim today to battle it out to see who deserves $75,000. The tournament started with anticipated game between Woah and SK.US. The confident team of SK led by Realz did just as his video showed as they dropped Ocelote for each of their wins taking the series 3-2. Both ShipIt and TSG took their series against the Taiwanese teams of DKP and All Pass. TSG's games were a show of exactly what a cleave is built for; kill cloth. ShipIt had a little trouble with All Pass but were able to take it 3-2. The first upset of the day came in the game between HoN and x6 as HoN decided to stray away from RMP at the start of the series going back to their roots once x6 made the switch to WLD but it wasn't enough. x6 and TSG met in the second round of the upper bracket in a battle of cleavage. The matches were incredibly close as both teams nearly scored kills back and forth. In the end, TSG cleaved just a bit harder. ShipIt and SK faced off next with ShipIt running a comp they created to answer the epidemic of RMP DK/Hun/Pal. SK.US proved at MLG Columbus the comp wasn't a sure win by beating eMg. The series was out of control as games came down to 1v1's and 2v1's. Realz played offensively scoring a kill against ShipIt before going down allowing both Enforcer and Pookz to show how good they really are. An incredible series with ShipIt winning 3-2. The day ended with round one of the lower bracket. Both DKP and All Pass of Taiwan were unable to win a series forcing them out of the tournament first. HoN began screaming as they scored kills beating DKP 3-0. Tomorrow shows promise of being another day of crazy series; a european battle between Woah and x6, an RMP mirror of celebrity teams SK.US versus HoN and of course the upper bracket finals between TSG and ShipIt.
