Kelly "Teek" Law-Yone takes a look at x6tence's upset in the lower bracket at Blizzcon 2009.

SK.us vs X6tence (Spain)

X6 - souler, siler, falcon
SK - pookz/realz/enforcer

Game One:

Ruins of Lordaeron - Both teams charge the tomb with Souler and Pookz both getting focused. X6tence forces Pookz into an early ice block, but Souler is also getting low as well. Realz manages to heal Pookz back up to full, which allows Pookz to get a sheep off.

Falcon is then put into a blind, which makes Siler a possible target. However, Falcon trinkets the blind and gets on Realz. A kidney onto Souler and a counterspell by Pookz puts Souler in a dangerous position at 10k hp.

Realz is desperately trying to get away from Siler and Falcon, but ends up taking too much damage and drops. Falcon and Souler are somewhat low, but Souler does a good job of keeping everyone up and Pookz is taken down, Enforcer shortly after.

This makes the series 1-0, with X6tence in the lead over SK Gaming.

Editor's Note: This round was ruled inconsequential due to technical difficulties. The score was at this point reset to 0-0.

Game Two: Blades Edge Arena

Blades Edge - Pookz gets focused and tries to run, while Realz gets crowd controlled. Pookz tries to get off an evocate but it doesn’t help as he goes down. Enforcer could not get to his target, while Falcon and Siler managed to do damage. Enforcer did try to put pressure on Souler but it was not enough.

SK 0-1 X6

Game Three:

Blades Edge - Falcon charges across the bridge and immediately focuses on Enforcer. Enforcer switches from Falcon onto Siler, but Siler kites away making Enforcer vulnerable on the bridge. Enforcer gets focused but manages to get a few heals from Realz which allows Pookz to crowd control. However, Enforcer is still low and has the hunter pet on him which prevents him from resetting the fight and finally drops from a kill shot by Siler.

SK 0-2 X6

Game Four:

Pressure on falcon. Brain freeze for big burst. Souler low but still is pookz. Souler gets a heal off in time. Mage being focused and gets away. Sheep on souler. Falcon focused. Fear and CS on souler. Falcon goes down.

Editor's Note: This round was ruled inconsequential due to technical difficulties. The score was at this point reset to 2-0 in favor of x6tence.

Game Five:

Ruins of Lordaeron - RMP vs holydin/dk/hunter. Souler starts out in a frost nova from Pookz, which is followed up by a deep freeze. Falcon and Siler are taking small damage, when suddenly SK puts an immediate switch on Souler and kills him before he can even get a bubble off.

The match is not over yet, as Siler and Falcon take down Realz, making it a 2v2. Pookz and Enforcer are at full HP, and manage to take down Siler and Falcon to win the match and making the series 2-1, in favor of x6tence.

SK 1 - 2 x6tence

Game Six:

Ring of Valor - Souler starts off the match trying to get behind the pillar but gets caught in a frost nova and gets focused. He finally manages to LOS the mage and heal up, and Enforcer throws an early blind onto Falcon. SK desperately tries to chain their CCs and get a quick kill on Siler, and Falcon blows all his cooldowns trying to save him.

Meanwhile, X6tence is putting pressure on Pookz and finally manages to get him down making it a 3v2. Realz and Enforcer are still at high HP but it’s not enough to do anything as X6tence goes on to win the series at 3-1.
