World of Warcraft: MLG Dallas Saturday Melee

The second day of competition for the MLG PC Circuit here at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas looks to be the most exciting day of round robin play.


GotFrag.com - As day one comes to an end, it is looking more and more demoralizing for many of the U.S. teams. SK, Gravitas, and coL are all looking to redeem themselves here after the losses they suffered last night to international teams x6tence, Button Bashers, and aAa. Although only one match has been played for all teams, the tournament is starting to unveil and the stronger teams are shining through.

In day one, we were host to many RMP mirrors, of which the better RMP came out on top. Button Bashers and Gravitas faced off in what became an easy steam roll for BB as they 5-0'd GG playing RMP mirrors. Complexity suffered a 3-0 loss to the French RMP aAa early on. Like Blizzcon, SK was cleaved by x6tence's Hunter, DK, Paladin comp which shows that x6tence is ready to come out on top against the RMP teams here in Dallas.

The most exciting match of the day, came from the newly formed eMg with the addition of Kintt. They decided to bring out a comp that has not been seen yet here in competiton playing a Hunter, Enhancement Shaman, and Priest of which proved well against Fnatic. Although we have not seen anything yet from eMg against the RMP teams, we are looking for some exciting action coming into day two.

Look for a possible new setup from Button Bashers, many more RMP mirror matches, and a long day of action here as Saturday heats up. Round robin play continues at 11 A.M. EST with a pre-game show at 10:30 A.M.

Blade’s edge, aAa is all caught in a clutch fear by realz after pookz forces trinkets on all of them. aAa’s rogue dies. 2-0 sk
SK Ruins of Lordaeran aAa
Ruins, both teams are back in standard specs. Both go hard on eachothers rogues, sk kills aaa’s rogue but aaa manages to kill enforcer. The 2v2 ends up in a stalemate for 5 mins.. sk ends up winning the 2v2. 3-0 sk

Ruins, aAa starts on enforcer, phoenix does a good job getting a few sheeps onto realz, they end up bursting enforcer after vanish and kill him. 3-1 SK
SK Ruins of Lordaeran aAa
SK starts on phoenix(mage) and they force him to block, aAa forces pookz to use ice block and they switch onto enforcer. After trading sheeps, pookz manages to land a full sheep onto Thorkin and they kill hiss. 4-1 SK

Ruins – coL start out on falcon, x6 go on venruki… After sodah trinkets, siler lands a ranged frost trap and traps sodah in a ice block for 7-8 seconds… Venruki eventually dies. 3-0 x6
