World of Warcraft: Get Yiska'd: RMP vs Shadowcleave

Shadow cleave vs RMP, one of the major topics of MLG Anaheim.

GotFrag.com - We just saw SK.EU, the team that has so much to prove, sending a message around the world. It couldn't be a more pure or confident statement. Divine Inflame raises his voice, and suddenly it was quiet in Azeroth. He took a long deep breath and started:

"We just 5-0'd your supposed to be strongest RMP America. We switched to our off comp and we still beat you easily. For Europe!"

And so it was settled. SK.EU finishes the night and will sleep well, looking forward to more American beef tomorrow. Did I expect to see SK.EU so strong? Of course... but that confident? Some people are tough on the internet, seems like there aren't those boundaries for an Inflame.

Meanwhile the second RMP has just lost to Shadow Cleave. I talked to Snutz pre-tournament and he was pretty confident; now I can see why. While Brogo's play and more specifically his positioning was questionable in the first two games, he stepped up and played better in the later games. In the last game, over 50% of people on my ventrilo were convinced that Realz was either disconnected or AFK.

While it might seem that Shadow Cleave has an advantage against RMP, Ensidia claims that if you have decent tactics the chances are about 50/50 and they in fact had a split record against them on LAN as they trained against SK.EU before this tournament.

Some quotes about the game SK.US vs coL BHMS:

Kalimist:"SK.US seemed to have a lot more confidence going against that comp, maybe it was the calibre of the players they were going against? Either way, it still wasn't enough"

Hydra:
"Pretty much the match between SK.EU and coL, but much much worse."

Ghingis:
"I have no idea what just happened; that Druid is not at all impressive, and apparently seems to think pillars are overrated as a form of LOS. Still SK managed to lose, IT BOGGLES MY MIND"

One more match for the day and I'm pretty excited to see what CheckSix came up with.
